Head Football Coach............................................................. Greg Holt
Coach Holt begins his 18th season at West High, and his 16th season as the head football coach. He served as the defensive coordinator for West in the 1992 and 1993 seasons under Kenny Crabb. In 1994, he took over as the head coach. In 1998, his squad won the league championship and Holt and his staff garnered the Daily Breeze, "Coach of the Year" award. Prior to his stay at West High, Coach Holt spent 10 seasons coaching at Long Beach State. Enjoying his relationships with many excellent coaches including current NFL head coaches, John Fox (Carolina Panthers) and Marlin Lewis (Cincinnati Bengals).He was fortunate to work in the 1990 season with the late NFL Hall of Fame coach, George Allen. Coach Holt currently resides in the City of Torrance, with his high school sweetheart, his wonderful wife, Linda. |

Coach Hons is in his 20th season as the scout and special teams coach for the Warriors. Coach Hons is a1976 West High Alummus, played for El Camino '76 - '77 and San Diego State '78 - '81. He returned to West High football as an assistant coach under Fred Peterson '81 - '83, Mark Know / John Black '84 - '85 and the last 12 seasons under Greg Holt. Coach Hons left to start a family and returned to the Warrior staff in 1996. His wife Sharon Lomas is a 1975 West High grad with sons Chris - Class of 2002 with his wife Shannon, daughter Aurora and Phill - Class of 2006. |

Damien Watters |
Coach Watters returns for his 5th year on Holt's staff. Watters has been coaching the offensive line since 1984. His Coaching career started at South Gate high School. The 1988 Team went 14-0 and won the 3A City Championship. He was also Coach that year for the City Senior All-Star game. Watters then moved on to Coach at St. Bernards H.S. This is his 2nd time around at West High. Watters was the Varsity offensive line Coach at West from 1991 - 1993. Watters also had the opportunity to coach the 1993 Lions All-Star game under former West High Head Coach Kerry Crabb. Watters then went on to be an assistant offensive line coach at El Camino College for the past 14 years. Watters played football and baseball at Mater Dei and Irvine High School. His college career started at Saddleback Junior College were he was an All Conference offensive lineman and team captain then went on to play at New Mexico State, and Cal State Northridge. Coach Watters has two son's Damien Jr [aka] Damo who recently graduated and will be playing for Saddleback College in Mission Viejo. Austin [Boo] who will be a senior this year for the Warriors. |

Tom Campbell |
Coach Campbell played collegiate ball at the University of Delaware. He coached Varsity level at Bishop Montgomery High School under Jimmy Simss 1994 - 96. This will be his 7th year at West and 3rd as the Defensive Line Coach. Tom and Karen, his lovely wife of 30 years has four children, three of which has graduated from West. Jillian - 2000, Colleen - 2002, Ross - 2007 who played at West and was All - Bay league 2nd team defensive lineman for the 2007 Warriors! The Campbell's youngest, Jacqueline is currently a junior. |

2nd Year coaching with West High. Graduated South High in 2007. Coach Hokama was League MVP, All Area, All CIF Senior year. After High School, Coach Hokama played 2 years at El Camino under Coach Featherstone and was Team Captain his Sophmore year. |

Gary Rowe |
Coach Rowe coached at West from 1989 - 2002 where he served as Head Frosh Coach, Head JV Coach and Varsity Defensive Line Coach. Coach Rowe's son Bryan was also a Warrior, he was the starting Varsity quarterback. This season Coach Rowe will assist with the Varsity Defensive Line and help the program with it's equipment. |

Wes Black |
Coach Black has been a part of the West High family for over 25 years. He started out as the team ball boy whe he was five years old. His father John was part of the coaching staff in '82 when West won it's CIF title and later became head coach of the Warriors. Wes graduated and played for West High, but wuld return to coach freshman football for close to 10 years. He is now part of the JV staff and looks forward to many more years of Warrior tradition. |
